SLIT AND CUT-TO-LENGTH SYSTEMS

The Enforcer is the perfect machine for customers who need to decoil, slit and cut-to-length length gauge sheet metal. It can cut up to 5 slits of 18 gauge or 3 slits of 16 gauge Standard coil width is 48", but 60" is available.

Two choices are available for the cutting; heavy duty guillotine shear or rotary cross-head shear. Accuracy is .060" for both options.

The Enforcer comes standard with the AMS 450 American Control.

This system has many features not found on any competitive machine.

RECOILING SYSTEM

Recoiling systems allow customers to accomplish three things: capture the gross margin that service centers charge for slitting coils, reduce the need for multiple coil inventory and allow customers to manage down their overall inventory.

This machine can be hooked up to any slitter that produces straight slit material. It can recoil material down to 18 gauge and can be purchased in 48 or 60 inch widths. It can recoil up to 82 feet per minute.

There are two mechanical components: a drag style tensioning tower and a powered recoiling mandrel.

DECOILERS

There are many different types of Decoilers available; power and manual.

Power Decoilers are now available at prices that provide a very good ROI. A power Decoiler with coil cart substantially reduces the time to change coils and minimizes risk of damage to material.

A Coil Up-Ender is another tool that will increase your productivity. The QXCU offered by Engage Machinery will upend palletized coils 90 degrees while simultaneously rotating 180 degrees. This allows the lift truck operator to load and unload from the same position.
